Operating Systems

Only operating systems from the Microsoft® Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows 2008 Server and Windows 2003 Server families are supported.
Qualified and fully operational:

Windows XP Professional Edition with Service Pack 2 or Service Pack 3, 32-bit version
Windows Vista Business, Enterprise and Ultimate Editions
Windows Vista Business, Enterprise and Ultimate Editions with Service Pack 1
Windows Server 2003 Standard and Enterprise Editions, 32-bit version
Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard and Enterprise Editions, 32-bit version

Operational but may have limitations in use. Please contact technical support before using any of these:

Windows XP Embedded with Service Pack 2 or Service Pack 3
Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005
Windows XP Tablet PC Edition 2005
Windows Vista Home Premium Edition
Windows Server 2008 Standard and Enterprise Editions
Any operating systems hosted in a system virtual machine such as Microsoft® Virtual PC or VMWare®.

NOT supported:

Windows XP Home Edition
Windows XP Professional Edition, 64-bit versions
Windows Vista Starter and Home Basic Editions
Windows Server 2003, 64-bit versions
Windows Server 2003 R2, 64-bit versions
Windows Server 2008 for Itanium-based systems
Windows CE (Windows mobile)

For all operational editions of Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008, both 32-bit (x86) and 64-bit (x64) processor architectures are supported.

Editions of Windows XP and Windows Vista designated as 'N' or 'KN' versions include the same functionality as the corresponding standard editions, except that they do not include Windows Media Player and related technologies such as Windows Movie Maker.

Browser

Required:

Microsoft® Internet Explorer version 6 or later.

Recommended MINIMUM PC configuration

Processor - 1.0 GHz for 32-bit systems (x86) or 1.4 GHz for 64-bit systems (x64).
System Memory – 1 GB for Windows XP, Windows Server 2003; 2 GB for Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008.
Available hard disk space – at least 2 GB.
Graphics - Super VGA (1024 × 768 pixels) for Windows XP, Windows Server 2003 and Windows Server 2008.
For Windows Vista, Microsoft® recommends the following for full support of the Aero mode and DirectX 9:

A WDDM display driver,
At least 128 MB of graphics memory,
Pixel Shader 2.0 in hardware,
32 bits per pixel.

DVD-ROM - Required for installation only (or split into CD-ROMs – See the installation help)
