History for versions 9.0 - History for versions 10

PCVUE 8.2 - Service Pack 2 - (build 1596 11/03/2010)

Main features added:

  • Performance improvements on loading and unloading phases.
  • New protocol: MEWTOCOL-COM for ET1 - TCP based driver for communication with Panasonic devices (formerly Matsushita). The driver for communication with FP series PLCs via serial port  was already available.
  • The Supervisor now takes advantage of LNS-TE lost node detection, widely improving the system responsiveness in case of massive disconnections or power supply issues on the network side - in particular in case of Lonworks® router loss.
LNS® package versions prior to 3.2 are no longer supported.
  • OPC Server: The OPC-Security specification has been implemented along with other means to restrict unexpected third-party access via the OPC server, thus reducing the attack surface of the Supervisor.
  • 225+ fixes and enhancements.
